Non-Accredited Visitor Centres

Look for the White i

Across Tasmania, some visitor information outlets display the blue-and-white “i” symbol. While these locations are not formally accredited, they can still offer helpful local advice and travel information, often provided by local businesses. Services, opening hours, and facilities may be more limited, but they are still a great place to start your Tasmanian adventure.

Located in the coastal town of Penguin, the Penguin Visitor Information Centre provides friendly, local advice to assist visitors exploring the Central Coast and surrounding regions. If the centre is closed, visitors are encouraged to contact the Ulverstone Visitor Information Centre for further assistance.
